I am in LOVE with this gorgeous leopard print, faux leather trimmed blouse from FM Boutique, it goes from day to night SOO well - and best part? It's ONLY £24!!! Gotta LOVE a bargain!
This is the outfit I wore on Saturday, I had a lovely day with some blogger friends, at the TOWIB event, then a little bit of shopping in Forever 21, and noodles and wine to finish. Good times :-)
I worked on Sunday which wasn't too bad and then spent Sunday night catching up on TV!

Arrow or Triangle Nail Art

What you will need :2 nail colours3m tape

Paint your nails with the base colour

cut off a piece of 3m tape using scissors to get a good sharp straight line, then stick the tape to the back of your hand a few times to take off a bit of the stickiness as if the tape is too sticky it can take off the base colour .. you dont want that!

paint on the top coat

wait for the top coat to almost fully dry before peeling away the tape

repeat on all 10 nails!

How good do they look with my phone ... haha!

This is such an easy nail effect and you can chose as many colours as you like to go with any outfit! simples!!

This is what I wore to the Very.co.uk event last week, totally forgot I had taken pics before I left!
I LOVE this blouse, and I had so many lovely compliments on it, I bought it in some cheap shop in NY. I am loving orange with purple as well, bought these jeans in orange too so need to find a pretty purple blouse I think!
It is still VERY cold in London, need a few new sweaters I think! Looking for a mint green jumper at the moment, want a cheap one tho! If you see any make sure to let me know!

We spent the weekend in Brighton celebrating a friends birthday and shooting portfolio pics for our cousin. Whilst the rest of the UK was covered in snow, Brighton was just REALLY cold!
I was sooo glad that I had just bought this bear ears fur coat from the ASOS sale just before we left ... it is sooo toasty warm! I had so many compliments from strangers and even a few requests for hugs!!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Nail Wraps

So My best friend sent me these nail wraps over from Australia as a part of my Christmas present!

Who doesn't LOVE a bit of fake LV tack?

Here is my step by step guide to nails wraps ... you need to get involved they are SOOO easy!!

You will need : nail scissors and a nail file!

Chose the right size for your nail, then just peel and stick!

Cut the nail wrap down to your nail length

TOP TIP : if your nails are short like mine, then take care trimming as you will have enough nail wrap left to use on your other hand too - No waste and twice the nail fun for the price of one! Good times!!

Then just file off the excess .... and voila ...

Loving them!!

So here is my 2nd look for this gorgeous orange maxi skirt, (click here to see my first look), I wanted to give it a less romantic harder edge. Which I think suits it perfectly! This skirt is soo gonna take me right through to Autumn 2012, I love wearing it and it moves sooo lovely (which I hope you could see in the little video).
Been goin mad on the ceramic curling tongs recently ... can you tell!? They are soo flippin easy to use I am LOVIN them!
Oh and I have an embarrassing story to share with you today! This morning I did my spin class with my gym trousers INSIDE OUT ...... so the person on the bike behind me got to watch my MASSIVE size 12 label bobbing up and down for an hour! EPIC fail!

This is the blouse I was very kindly given by FastFashion, and it has quickly made it onto my favourites list! I love how long the back is! Polka dots can bring such a new lease of life to your wardrobe, they just seem to cheer everything up! Go get some polka dots in your life!!
I also want to talk about this Dune clutch bag, it was given to me at the SS12 press day back in November and I have used it on every night out since!! It is the perfect size! It even fits my Canon camera in there! It comes in two colours, but since my hair is pink I can wear this bag with ANY outfit and it still goes!

The Jarlo collection was probably my favourite, with a colour palette like a box of macaroons, and vintage style dresses it was hard not to want every single piece!

The Rare collection was small but had some lovely key pieces, I picked our three of my favs, I especially liked the striped dress.

The Reverse collection is HOT, the australian fashion brand is soo cool, with lots of leather and studded details, it is so rock chick edgy, that you are gonna wanna get a really cool tattoo to go with your new ripped denim shorts!

I bought this blouse a while back and I have worn it a few times just never taken any pics in it. Little did I know at the time of purchasing, that this blouse would take the blogging world by storm (just google floral zara blouse)! I wore this on Wednesday when I met my friend and fellow blogger Melissa, and the first thing she said to me was "Oh you have THE Zara blouse!". Now I cant decide wether this is a good thing or not, however it has given me a library of styling ideas for this blouse, and I bought it because I loved the print, and I cant expect to be the ONLY person wearing something bought from a Zara store, so I have embraced it!

Also this year I am thinking about getting another tattoo so I am currently drawing them on and wearing them for a bit to see if I like them enough to look at them everyday for the rest of my days! The Year 2011

I didn't quite manage to fit in all of my 2011 highlights but a lot of them are in there, I am missing some of my dear blogger friends that I have made over the past year and my sisters wedding which was one of the best days of the year for me!

Next year I have my sister-in law's wedding to look forward to, and many more unexpected joys too I am sure!

So I found these plaid trousers in my local charity shop for , £1, and yes of course I flipping LOVE them!! They feel very festive!

I am at my Mum's house helping her with her Christmas decorating today! She has a massive house, so we get to do loads of cool stuff, like 2 Christmas trees, fire place garlands and stuff down the stairs! YAY! (I wish I had stairs to decorate!)

DIY Studded iPhone Case

You Will Need :2 different sizes of square studs, I used small gold, large silver (ebay)1 plain rubber iPhone case (ebay)Something metal to fold the spikes over, I used a pair of scissors

Lay the studs on top of the case in the design you want just to double check it will look how you want.

Then get pushing the stud into the rubber and fold the spikes to secure your stud in place, making sure they are folded well, as you dont want them to scratch your iPhone!

And Tadaaaaa .....

You know how much I dig the hippie look, and I soo wanted to bring it into my winter wardrobe, but it's pretty tough sometimes because hippies seemed to live in an endless summer!
This is my best winter hippie look inspired by the 70's, I think I have cracked it!
I cant get enough of this H&M faux fur stole at the moment and you are sure to be seeing much more of it over these winter months ... I apologise in advance!

New York day 3

This was probably my favourite day in NYC, we hired two vintage bikes from Frank's Bikes, and rode along the cycle paths on the west coast of Manhattan. Stopped off for lunch at nice little restaurant, I had the BEST turkey club sandwich in the WORLD, then we headed back to the Brooklyn Bridge to catch sunset. We rode over to Brooklyn then back to Manhattan via the Manhattan Bridge funnily enough!
If you look carefully enough on the 2nd to last photo just to the right of the sun is the Statue of Liberty, she is tiny but she is there!
Such a good day, but I gotta say that the saddle sore from the vintage leather seat was IMMENSE!
Wish I was there!

How fabulous is the venue? AMAZING right?!
The entrance was a long dark tunnel lit by tea-lights glittering along the path, sooo pretty and the garden party theme inside was just so sweet and summery. Needless to say Dune have an AWESOME SS12 collection, they always do sandals sooo well, and next year will not be a disappointment!
Got me in the mood for some sunshine! Shame it's 2 degrees outside!

New York Day 2

This was the day we walked 2 hours on the skyline and then did the 3 hour WALKING tour of Central Park, just so you know my Topshop flats held up VERY well, gotta LOVE a comfy shoe!
I am sure you have already guessed that the last pic was taken in Times Square! Our Hotel was a 2 min walk from there! LOVED it!!
We bought a Metro cards and just hopped on and off the Subway for the whole week it was SO easy and WELL cheap, although I gotta say the trains are not as plenty as the tubes in London and they are still in the dark ages! No electronic signs on the platforms, you just gotta have a look on the front of the train as it pulls in! Plus there are A LOT of tramps that live on the trains over there too ... a bit weird but at least they were out of the cold I guess!

We decided to go to New York a little last min as I wanted to be doing something fun on the 1st year anniversary of my Fathers death. He was such a fun dad and I just wanted to do something happy to remember him. So we have booked a show for Monday and a posh restaurant to raise a nice glass of fizz for him (although he wasn't posh and didn't drink fizz he did LOVE to eat!).

I am sold! I love the finished look, although girls and boys, you do have to be brave to wear an outfit like this, as people seem to think that because you stand out from the crowd, that gives them the right to talk LOUDLY about you to your face!
I am however used to this, as since i dip-dyed my hair people talk about me loudly everywhere I go! It keeps my friends and I amused, if nothing else!

These are my BARGAIN faux leather trousers from Primark of course (oh I am sooo predictable!) for £15 these are a flipping steal!
They fit really well, but with most leather trousers there is not much give in them, so putting things in my pockets was a little bit tricky, and they are not so easy to sit down in!!! I definitely WON'T be doing squats in these bad boys, but they served me VERY well for a night out to the Tesco SS 2012 preview!
Forget double denim, Leather Layers are the new trend, well thats what I am saying anyway!

My new TopShop leopard print Chelsea boots, bought on a shopping trip with Laura from thats so yesterday. Flipping love em! .... sooo comfy and such a WONDERFUL bright print!!

To be honest I am not in love with them all, and I thought that there were others in the set that I would have chosen but I think they are cute! ... Really like the walking pic (top right). Also I had on some great jewellery pieces so would have been good to have some detail shots too! Never mind maybe next time!!
I LOVED my outfit though and those shoes were soooo comfortable (and that is saying something because i DO NOT wear heels EVER!)

Sooo you may have notice that this A/W I am going CRAZY for the shirt and oversized jumper combo! This is only the beginning!!! LOL
These cords are another recent Primark purchase ... they are super comfortable although I had to go up a size in them! Nothing to do with my big bum as I have lost half a stone recently, but size is only a number on the inside of your clothes, if it looks good I dont care what number the label says!
I had a fab morning yesterday courtesy of Very.co.uk, they had a little blogger get together were we got to dress up in their Christmas party collection, have our hair and make-up done and then do a little photo-shoot! it was sooo much fun!

On our way to a client meeting this week we drove past this field with a white cross at the top of it, it looked so lovely! On our way home it was still light so we stopped the car next to the field and took some pics. There was a little sigh explaining that the farmer had made this cross to commemorate those who fought and died for us in the 2nd world war.
Such a beautiful way to remember.

So I had a VERY successful trip to Primark last Saturday and this jumper is one of my purchases! I LOVE it! It is soo comfy and easy to wear but the proof will be in the washing! I just hope it doesn't shrink because it is the perfect length as it is!
These photos were taken outside of our house and outside of a gorgeous country church that we visited on sunday in south Kent. I love old buildings filled with history and church yards are so romantic and full of history, they are just lovely to walk around.
Also I am trying out this new hairstyle ... I wanted a vintage look with a rocky/edgy twist .. would LOVE some feedback!! ( I am liking it but the only draw back is that I cant sit up straight in the car coz the roll hits the roof!)

This is my vintage cape that I bought from ebay last year, just havent worn it yet! It is 100% wool and is soooo warm!! I am LOVING it, think i need a pair of long leather gloves to wear with it when it gets colder because most of your arms are out of the sleeves!
You are gonna be seeing A LOT of this jumper because I just LOVE it! The colour, how easy it is to wear and how warm it keeps me, it is a winner!
Bought some lovely knits from Primark this weekend! Will get some pics up soon, I also bought a pair of leather trousers! Not sure if I am gonna keep them tho, not sure if they look too similar to the H&M leather look ones that i wore here in my red & black post.
