When I saw this striped dress on the SS Marc Jacobs catwalk I wanted it BAD!
But I knew I would NEVER be able to afford it .... so when I found this little beauty in Primark I went weak at the knees!!!

I know the two dresses are not identical but they are close enough for me! It is the next best thing in my price range and this is what I LOVE about the highstreet. Primark will never be able to compete with designers like Marc Jacobs but for a fraction of the price regular girls like me can afford to buy "similar" lesser quality items and just pretend (a good imagination is rquired) that we are running around the streets of London in the very best fashion has to offer!
Do you like it when the highstreet imitates high fashion? or do you think it is wrong for them to "copy" somebody elses designs?

Fashion is so, so odd everyone just copyies one another stores are always taking from designers, than copying off each other....I lost count of how many buyers come to Topshop to 'inspire' them. Funny really because Topshop get 'inspired' too haha
Hey if you can't afford it than what can you do, I adore primark and so I can't say oh it's sooo wrong.
