Can you believe just how HUGE I am? Me either! With just over 4 weeks to go I am feeling both super excited and super nervous all at the same time!
I am currently reading a birthing book called Birth Skills (as recommend by my bestie who did a stella job giving birth to her son without and pain relief) which talks about your birthing journey and how you should be looking forward to the challenge and the gift of giving birth!
So I am embracing that thought and am looking (well trying) at my birth plan with great anticipation rather than great trepidation - its a state of mind - and my mind is thinking positive thoughts! (I'll let you know how long that lasts!)
I LOVE it when I find some "normal" non maternity clothes that I can actually wear! This stunning exclusively designed zebra print top from SugarHill Boutique, has a gorgeous cross back detail which not only looks good, but it also means it gives that little bit of extra room in the front for my growing tummy!
If you love a good print and would like something a little bit different and unique for your wardrobe then you should defo check out SugarHill Boutique's other stuff ( look out for pink flamingo's, ice creams and pineapples!)
Also new into my wardrobe this week is this Chloe-esq tan saddle bag and my new FAV bronze & rose gold bangles - both MASSIVE bargains from good ole Primark!
Finally - I need to talk about where these shots were taken!
We visited a local salt lake whilst over at my mums holiday apartment in Torrevieja, Spain.
It is the coolest place to watch the sun set, the lake is a thousand shades of pink and as the sun lowers the salt glistens like shards of crystal.
It just has to be seen!
Next time you are near a slat lake - you have to spend a sunset there - you wont regret it!
These Nike Air Thea's have literally changed my life! Pregnancy and my feet are not the best of friends so when I took these trainers out for a spin over the weekend I was more than delighted with how light and comfortable they are.
It is literally like walking on air - no pun intended!
Not only are they super comfy but I am in love with the matt black leather exterior and the matt black leather look laces are the icing on the cake!
These pics were taken on my Easter visit back to my home town of Liverpool.
Every spring Sefton Park is cover with fields of beautiful bright yellow daffodils and on a sunny day they really are a sight to behold!
I just couldn't resist snapping some outfit pics whilst strolling through the park, there is just something about daffodils that make me happy, i think it is their pretty little sunshine yellow bonnets!
I hope these pics have brought a little ray of sunshine into your day.
Trainers are a fashion week essential, especially if you are a pregnant lady with fat feet! Oh joy!
I have found that along with my growing tummy I have a growing need to wear comfortable clothes! Which has lead me to maternity wear! Although the dress in this post is just a regular oversized jumper dress from H&M Trend.
Maternity clothes are a whole different ball game - often leading to up sizing or down sizing depending on where you are shopping and what you are buying. Shopping and trying on takes twice as long as it used to and now I know what those little chairs are for in the corner of the fitting room - they are for prego girls to sit on to YANK the end of their skinny jeans over their fat feet.
I am now best friends with my DPD & Hermes drivers who bring me boxes full of maternity gear only to take most of it back 2 days later as "it doesn't fit", "I just look fat, not pregnant", "I hate the way I look", "my bum looks too big", "I hate the way I look", "My feet are too fat to fit into these pretty little shoes", "I hate the way I look". #TheStruggleIsReal
Who knew that pregnancy would be my biggest style challenge yet?
Bring on the challenge and the new closet full of fashion trainers ;-)
