Naturally I had arrived late in the day and was leaving just as they began packing up - cheekily I enquired what they would be doing with the balloons and when they said "popping them" I knew I had to rescue some for an outfit post! I did leave with 3 but after running through soho for my bus 1 of the balloons escaped!! RIP my big blue balloon - you were loved for the short time we spent together! This is my favourite blog post EVER - I hope you enjoyed the photo overload as much as I enjoyed playing with balloons in the street!! HAPPY WEEKEND FRIENDS! We all LOVE a great basic right? - everybody has them in our wardrobe, wether its a white t-shirt, black dress, a tailored trouser, or in this case the perfect fitting black skinny jeans, they are the clothes we go to when all else has failed us.

You can rely on a well-fitting basic as a solid base to build a killer outfit on, and when you find a basic that works for you, you wont let it go!

As my go-to skinny black jeans have slowly turned into my go-to skinny "dark greyish" jeans, I knew it was time to look for a replacement! So when these Great Plains jeans arrived at my door step I was excited to give them their first outing - and I am happy to say that they are a great fit AND they dont bag at the knees!

Thank You Great Plains for doing what you do so well - really GREAT plains!!

So have you embraced the trainers as everyday wear trend yet? I gotta tell you I am ALL for it! They are the most comfortable footwear trend ever!
I have branched out a bit and teamed a casual pencil skirt and this studded sweater with my Nikes - and I am very happy with the results! 
I may need another pair of trainers soon tho - coz you will all get bored of me very soon!
